BANG the "Single" OUT of me!

Celebrating LOVE
with Bangitout!

Over 500 beautiful singles, dressed in white gathered at Hudson Beach Cafe
in Riverside Park in New York
Lets face it, being Jewish is hard enough, but having to find a Jewish partner in a city of six million is even harder. Jewish heritage should be perpetuated the purists say, and the pressure to find a nice Jewish girl or boy to bring home to mom and dad is as ever present now as it has always been. But thanks to Bangitout-A Kosher Comedy Community (bangitout.com), there is a way to meet that perfect someone!
Call it  heaven on earth!  Hundreds of singles gathered at the Hudson Café on the west side for the tenth year in a row.

At the entrance you plaster a number tag on yourself, and as you mingle you write down people’s numbers and if they write down yours, Bangitout matches you up.
The Night was a Hit! People continued to gather and soon the
Hudson Beach Cafe was packed with amusement.
Super cheesy you may think, but fifteen couples found their soul mates this way and got married!  In honor of Tu B'Av a special event was organized by Bangitout. Isaac Galena one of the Co-founders of Bangitout explained that they "began setting up Tu B'Av parties for singles 10 years ago." the event got so popular that more and more people showed up each year!

Tu B'Av (the 15th day of the Jewish Month Av) is a special day.

Tu B'Av was a joyous holiday in the days of the Temple in Jerusalem .On Tu B'Av, the unmarried girls of Jerusalem would dress in white garments and go out to dance in the vineyards saying “young man, consider who you choose”
The daughters of the Tribe of Binyamin, were allowed to marry the sons of the other tribes on Tu B'Av, thus bringing love, peace and reconciliation to the people of Israel.

A little matching game!!! A sharp idea from the organizers.
Write down a number...its a match!

In modern times it has become a Jewish Valentine's Day and a popular day for weddings, proposals and romantic dates. "This is my second time attending the Bangitout singles Tu'Bav party" a business owner from New Jersey said "I see many familiar faces here" he added.
Alissa a cute blond from the upper west side said that she enjoys "coming to this event because there is such a huge crowd"

Tips collected from the food bar went to support
terror victims.
At the door, one had to pick up a match number sticker. The sticker was affixed to a visible place on the outfit.
Now ready to meet that special someone, the participants wrote down numbers on a Bangitout Match Card of those they wanted to date.
If two people matched numbers, Bangitout sets them up on a date!

EVERYONE had a blast at the Hudson!

Besides enjoying the night under the stars, the pleasant crowd supported  The Gift of Life Foundation (National Marrow Donor Program). The major portion of the proceeds went to The Gift of Life Foundation,  in addition guests participated in helping  those in need of bone marrow transplant and terror victims.

We spotted a good number of singles hitting it off.
Do we hear a Mazel Tov?!
The rain did not stop these singles from enjoying the night!

The after effects of the Tu'Bav Party? Bangitout usually get about 40-60 dates setup.  An online after party will be launched for those who want to post their name and photo. They can LIKE anyone on the after party page- if the person likes them back bangitout will send the two love-birds a dating setup email.  (for more information you can log on to bangitout.com)
DJ mix it up!!! The evening is Hot !

The event was Co-Sponsored by JCC Manhattan, Jwed.com and Giftoflife.org

-Love-tender, passionate, intense! A deep feeling of zealous
fervent, glowing emotion! The most desirable and talked
about subject in human history. From the beginning of time
until this very day when we think of love we begin to
remember that warm and wonderful feeling within us.
Love equals pleasure and happiness. May we always be blessed with
that pleasure!
